The Leipzig Book Fair is the largest public fair in Germany, the most important spring meeting place for the book and media industry and connects readers, authors, publishers and media - not only from Germany, but from all over the world. The host countries of the Leipzig Book Fair 2024 are the Netherlands and Flanders.
What can you expect at our stand? We will be presenting what we have the most of: Culture and digital, virtual exhibitions and cultural topics.
We present our dossiers and explain how best to find what you are looking for in the more than 53 million digital objects provided by over 800 data partners. Our main portal takes center stage, but so do our sub-portals: The German Newspaper Portal offers historical newspapers from more than four centuries and most of them can be read directly. The Collections from Colonial Contexts portal makes digitized and indexed collections from colonial contexts available online. And the Archive Portal-D offers special information for archive research.
